Multi-Factor Authentication
Protecting your personal information is our top priority. To further protect
our Online Banking customers from fraud and identity theft, the FDIC is mandating
that we add another layer of security called Multi-Factor or Two -Factor Authentication
to the Online Banking log in process. The product we will be using is- PassMark.
This new login procedure will be activated in January 2007. Please read the
remainder of this notice to familiarize yourself with the new login procedures.
Two
Factor Authentication will verify your identity in two ways. Every time you
login to the Exchange State Bank Online Banking we identify you, and it lets
you identify the bank using an image and a pass phrase.

by following the steps listed below.
Registering Your Computer
- What Does This Mean?
Registering
your computer allows you to simplify the login procedure. The system creates
a blueprint of your computer system. The next time you login your computer system
will be compared to the system blueprint on file for the login being provided
thus allowing the system to verify that your system matches the blueprint of
the system on which the login was created. This is not mandatory it is available
for you to utilize if you are comfortable with the procedure. Not registering
your computer will present you with challenge questions that you will need to
answer correctly before the image and pass phrase are displayed which makes
the login procedure secure for public computers.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause for you, but it is for
your benefit to have more security for your Online Banking sessions. The Exchange
State Bank staff will assist you with any questions you may have during this
new security enhancement. Thank You
